Information we keep
We process account details, username, level, optional profile information, uploaded profile photo, scores, quiz progress, learning activity, messages, comments, notifications, and technical information needed to secure and operate Aefore.
How it is used
This information provides sign-in, synchronized progress, personalized updates, community features, notifications, support, moderation, analytics, fraud prevention, and service improvement.
Guest analytics and consent
When you use Aefore without signing in, usage analytics is off by default. If you choose Allow, we record lesson and quiz opens, material downloads, and course revisits using a randomly generated identifier stored on your device. We do not attach a guest email, account, or message content to these events. You can decline without losing access to Aefore. You can later withdraw consent in Settings; this stops future guest analytics and removes the identifier from that device.
What other users see
Your username is visible across the community. Your email is not public. Your name, level, results, and quiz progress remain private unless you enable them in your profile's privacy settings. Channel messages are visible to channel members; direct messages are visible to their participants.
Service providers
Aefore uses contracted infrastructure providers, including Supabase for account and application data services and Vercel for application hosting. They process information as needed to provide these services.
Your choices
You can change profile visibility controls, edit account information, and choose what optional information to upload. You can also delete your account and associated data from any supported device or platform.
Security and retention
We use reasonable safeguards and retain information only as long as needed for the service, safety, legal obligations, and legitimate recordkeeping. No internet service can promise absolute security.
